HTC smartphones get Ice Cream Sandwich

Is your HTC mobile one of the lucky handsets getting an upgrade?

HTC just announced on its blog the full list of phones due to get Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades. The lucky mobiles are:

DROID Incredible 2 by HTC

HTC Amaze 4G

HTC Desire S

HTC Desire HD

HTC EVO 3D

HTC EVO Design 4G

HTC Incredible S

HTC Sensation

HTC Sensation XL

HTC Sensation 4G

HTC Sensation XE

HTC Raider

HTC Rezound

HTC Rhyme

HTC Thunderbolt

HTC Vivid

HTC has already started rolling out ICS for the Sensation and Sensation XE, hoping to upgrade all devices in the next few weeks. The update for the HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Sensation XL will follow.

Fans of the HTC Desire Z will be dismayed at their mobile's omittance, and an online petition has already been started to include this device. It also looks like the Flyer tablet will be stuck on old Android for now.
